•As a member of True Life you are to abide by the rules and laws of Los Santos and the clan. The following are laws that are to be followed at all times no matter what your occupation or role. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Traffic Laws: The following three traffic laws are to be followed in most circumstances. If you are a civilian or criminal, you may occasionally break these rules with police chief or management approval Repeated offenses will lead to a ban!
1. When approaching a stop sign or stop light, wait 5 seconds. If the intersection is clear you may proceed . If an AI/NPC car is blocking your route you may enter the oncoming lane if it is clear.
2. Speed limits are 45mph on main roads or city streets and 70mph on freeways and highways.
3. You may turn right at a red/stop light.
Please note that you will be held responsible for proper drivers etiquette in this RP. Please follow all road signs and traffic markers. It is important to slow down to a stop rather than slam on your brakes and avoid jerking/slamming/drifting your car in traffic to prevent an accident. IF you should be involved in an accident please notify the police.
Search Warrants: A search warrant is a court order issued by a judge or magistrate judge that authorizes law enforcement officers to conduct a search of a person or premises for evidence of a crime and to confiscate evidence if it is found. As a member of True Life you are expected to co-operate with law enforcement if such issues arise as all members are liable for warrants at any time.
Being Restrained: Being restrained is getting handcuffed. You will be aware if you are being restrained if you hear an officer come behind you and directly tell you "You have been restrained, you cannot move or pull out any weapons at this time or until I tell you to do so.", this means you have to stand still until the officer orders you to move into a vehicle or destination.
Being Tasered: Being shot by a flare gun has the same effect as being tasered within the RP. This will be followed by the officer directly telling you to freeze and that you have been tased. The officer will retrieve and restrain you (See Above). Court Order: A court order is any finalized order from a judge stating a specific action. This order could be anything from a restraining order to a declaration of Marshal Law. A court order is equivalent to a law within TLRP and must be obeyed by all citizens. As such, a court order must also be executed by a member of law enforcement if requested by the judge present.
Convoy Rule: The military of the RP is entitled to run in convoys irregardless of a state of emergency or not. IT IS A CRIME TO ATTEMPT TO STOP, HARASS, OR ATTACK MILITARY FORCES WHEN THEY ARE ON THESE MANUEARS. If you approach members of the military, you will be warned to leave the area and warning shots will be fired. FAILURE TO ADHERE TO THE WARNING WILL LEAD TO LETHAL ACTION.
Sling Rule: Certain jobs within the RP allow members to carry weapons which may be larger than concealable or may allow someone to carry multiple two handed weapons on their person at one time. You may view this as a failure of the pocket gunning rule, it is not. It is needed to complete said jobs role and to create a realistic simulation of that job. We have kept things fair by only allowing these certain members to produce these weapons in specific load outs or kits provided on the appropriate pages.
